Terms of service

The store

These terms are between you and foldoy, which runs the store at foldoy.com. Contact: support@foldoy.com.

Who may use the store

You must be 18 or older. You may not use the store if you are in a country or region under comprehensive sanctions or on a sanctions list, or on behalf of someone who is. Sign-ups, deposits, purchases and swaps are refused from Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria, judged by the country Cloudflare reports for your connection and, at sign-up, the country you choose.

Creating an account, buying or opening a swap means you accept these terms and the Acceptable use policy.

Your account

You sign up with a password and, if you want, an email. Without an email you get a 16-digit account number, shown once, and it is your login. One person per account. You are responsible for what runs under it.

The store sends no email, so there is no recovery: lose your account number, password or two-factor device and the account and its balance are gone

You can add or change an email in Security settings

Deleting the account in Security settings forfeits the remaining balance and ends every service at once

Balance

Deposits become store credit in US dollars. Credit can only be spent in the store. There are no withdrawals and no transfers between accounts. Refunds are returned as credit.

Deposits start at $15, with up to $2,000 in any 24 hours

A balance holds up to $2,000, and the deposit form lets you add only what fits

A payment that would take the balance over $2,000 is held until a person reviews it

Deposits

The deposit page shows which coins are open. A Monero, Bitcoin or Litecoin deposit gets its own address in the store's wallet. It is credited once the payment confirms on the network (10 confirmations for Monero, 1 for Bitcoin, 6 for Litecoin), for the amount that arrives, at the coin's price when it is credited.

USDT goes to one Tron (TRC20) address shared by every deposit, so each deposit shows an exact amount to send: the dollars you chose plus a few cents. A transfer of exactly that amount is credited dollar for dollar once Tron confirms it.

Anything sent to a Monero, Bitcoin or Litecoin deposit address within 7 days of opening the deposit is credited

USDT of a different amount, or on another network, is not matched automatically: write to support@foldoy.com with the transaction ID

A deposit with no payment after 7 days expires, and coins sent to it later are not credited automatically: write to support@foldoy.com

If card payments are offered, card credit cannot buy gift cards, top-ups, phone numbers or proxies, and a card dispute locks the account and suspends its services

Invite credit

Your account page has an invite link. When someone opens it, signs up within 30 days and deposits $20 or more in crypto in total, you get $5 of credit, once per person. Card deposits do not count. Invite credit cannot buy gift cards, top-ups, phone numbers or proxies.

Prices

Prices are in US dollars. Checkout shows the price before you pay, and if it changes while the page is open, checkout stops and shows the new price. You pay the network fee when you send crypto.

Products

Products open as their suppliers are connected. Until then a product's page says it is not open yet, and checkout charges nothing. Orders are processed right after payment.

Game, bot and web servers: Run on our server panel, where you get the console and files. Billed monthly.
VPS: Root access with your SSH key. Billed monthly. Port 25 stays closed, and there are no backups.
Email: Mailboxes and aliases on your own domain or on foldoy.com. Your own domain is added once a DNS record proves you hold it. Billed monthly. Up to 200 outgoing emails per mailbox per day.
Domains: Registered in foldoy's name and billed yearly. See Domains below.
Gift cards and top-ups: A code on your orders page. Check the region before you buy. Up to $200 a day per account, for both together.
Phone numbers: Yours for the time you choose. Every text it receives in that time shows on its page, except texts from banks, payment apps, crypto exchanges and government services, which are held back. Up to 20 a day per account. Once released, a number can go to someone else.
Proxies: Credentials on your orders page, valid for 30 days.

Refunds

An order that fails to set up or deliver is refunded in full

A phone number that gets no text in its first 20 minutes is released and refunded, and so is one you release before any text arrives

Delivered codes and credentials, and numbers that received a text, are final

Ending a service early does not refund the rest of its period

Refunds are returned as store credit

Renewals

Monthly and yearly services renew on their renewal date, charged from your balance. When the balance runs short, a service gets 3 days of grace, then it is suspended.

A suspended service comes back once your balance covers the renewal, or when you renew it from its page

Renewal dates do not move while a service is unpaid, so each missed period is charged when it comes back

A service that stays suspended can be terminated

Renewing early from the service's page adds one period

Ending a service

You can end a service at any time from its page. It ends at once.

Servers and VPS are deleted with their data

Mailboxes and aliases are deleted with their mail

A domain is no longer renewed and stays registered until it runs out

Free bot server

Accounts that have deposited $20 or more in total can claim one 256 MB bot server at no charge. It stays free while the account is active: a login, a purchase or a deposit at least every 90 days. While the account is inactive the server is turned off, and it turns back on when you log in.

One free server per account

Capped at 15% of one CPU core

No backups or databases

No crypto mining and no outbound email (port 25 is blocked)

Can be turned off after 30 days idle, and you can turn it back on from its page

Domains

foldoy is the registrant of record: each domain is registered in foldoy's name, with WHOIS privacy. You hold the right to use the domain for as long as you renew it.

Registered for a year at a time and renewed yearly from your balance

You set the nameservers on the service page

An unpaid domain is parked without ads and is not renewed at the registry, so it can be lost when the registration runs out

Swaps

Swaps need no account. The exchange named on the swap page carries out the swap: you send your coins to its deposit address and it pays out to the address you give. We never hold your coins.

Opening a swap order means you accept the terms of the exchange that runs it, linked on the swap page

The amount shown is an estimate after the exchange's fees and ours, and the exchange pays out at its own rate when your coins arrive

Our fee is the percentage shown on the swap page, and the exchange pays it to us

The exchange runs its own checks and can ask for ID, or hold, freeze or refund a swap, under its terms

Send the exact amount on the network shown, with the memo if there is one: we cannot recover coins sent to a wrong address or network

Swaps are offered only where an exchange serves you, judged by the country Cloudflare reports for your connection, and are not promised in any country

If a swap opens on the exchange's own website, you deal with that exchange directly under its terms, and it pays us a referral commission

Each swap order keeps your IP address, browser user agent and language list for one year, as the exchanges require (see Privacy)

Suspension and termination

Breaking the Acceptable use policy leads to suspension. Repeated or severe breaches lead to termination without refund.

A service can be suspended before you are contacted

A service suspended after an abuse report is not charged while it is held, and cannot be renewed or upgraded

We can lock an account while we review it, and a locked account cannot log in

Availability and changes to the service

Products, prices, coins and exchanges can be added, changed or withdrawn at any time. The store and its services can be unavailable during maintenance or outages.

Liability

As far as the law allows:

The store and its services are provided as they are, with no promise that they will always work or be free of errors

We are not responsible for what exchanges, registries, suppliers or blockchain networks do

We are not responsible for losses from a lost account number, password or two-factor device, or from coins sent to a wrong address or network

We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost data, so keep your own copies of anything important

Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it or, for a swap, our fee on that swap

Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or takes away rights you have as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Using the store after a change means you accept the new terms.
